Each year, the Society for the Study of Childhood in the Past (SSCIP) holds a conference hosted by a member of the Society. The conference offers an annual opportunity for international members of the Society to meet up. It is run in different countries around the world, alternating each year between a European based location, and one further afield.
The 17th Annual SSCIP Conference will be hosted by Mathilde Vestergaard Meyer, Felix Riede, and Helle Strandgaard Jensen (Aarhus University) in Aarhus, Denmark from 25th – 27th June 2025. The conference theme is ‘Children and Climate Change’. Registration is currently open (until 13th June 2025), with options for both in-person and online participation.
